Goodness! I just realise i haven't update anything on 4i's Class bbq gathering at ECP. It was a fun night I must say. But before the event all started, a catastrophe occured.
Me and kat met up at Bedok Interchange... to take 401 to ECP. We alighted the bus like a few stops earlier i proposed. And when we found out we got off the wrong stop, we proceeded to take the next bus that just arrived. Which was 36. Do start laughing now!! hahaha... So basically bus 36 drove on through the whole of East Coast highway... I thought it may stop somewhere halfway.. but nope. I was shock when suddenly the highway ends and a familiar sight came to view. (The airport tower. I use to go there almost everyday to work)
So, to my utmost amazement, we ended up in Changi Airport. And which our proposed destination was actually East Coast Park.
That was not all... We both decided that since it was getting kinda late, we should take a cab there.
ASSUMING that we only have to pay an extra $2 for the peak hour fee, we got on a cab.
We reached ECP safely, and quite fast too, to our budget relief. And then, at which, we were hit with another surprise~ there was an extra sur-charge of $5.oo for passengers boarding a cab from Changi Airport. Wow!! So much for promoting tourism! Now they're charging tourists extra! Should had known better than to take a cab from the airport.
The BBQ turned out great. Hh brought in extra food... and I bbq-ed them. I was my first time bbqing... =x
Then well, took a walk along the sandy beach... The view is nice. See clara's blog for the picture! It's amazing!!
After dark sets in, some of us started to play dai dee (Big 2). It was a nice time playing!~
Credits to kat's faded deck of cards. ;)
It all ended at about 11pm. And oh yah the gathering was on 6th Jan. lol. I'm how many days late updating this?
I miss my secondary school days terribly! Though it's great in JC and all, but still, some part of me wish I was back in Temasek. Memories...
And I think I ought to say some things right here in my blog, in case you do visit it...
Sorry, hui. No offense with my words on the phone ytd... I was just jokinggggggggggg. And seriously, I dun like shopping. =/ Well but if u really insist then we can go shop. Shop till we drop. I think i'll drop first la... Way earlier before u~
One day we might go our separate ways and all that due to our own commitment at different institutions buuuuuuuut I must say u have left a really really deep unerasable memories inside me.
So now let me make a bold statement! I won't forget you! ever~ You along with phoebe, clara. Hope we guys can stay in contact once in a while... esp when u all enter JC/poly.
This is not the type of 'frenz forever thingy' that we usually exchange in pri sch.
It's really from the bottom of my heart. And I really mean it!
Okay this is rather a looong post I must say?
But I have more things to add!
Today's Chinese lecture was... :) NICE!
The lecturer, a male, quiiiite .. decent looking... has quite a nice sense of humour. But can be quite crude at times.
It is the way he speaks... sorta mumbled through quite fast, and what's most important fact is that the voice was that like Jay's! Ahh, was really soothing to hear! And he seem to have that 'diao' attitude when teaching. Doesn't smile often. Doesn't laugh when he himself cracked a joke or something... wahaha.
I enjoyed the lecture though I don't exactly understand the notes ... It's chinese all over again. I hope he will teach another lecture again but I doubt so. The lecturer changes every week. Nevertheless..... it was 'wow!' for me.
I'm not the only one who thinks that the lecturer reminds one of Jay Chow. Even one of my schoolmate (cum ex colleague) agreed with me. Haha... I'm not the only one!!!! =))
AHHHH I wanted to blog much more, but my addiction to Jay prohibits that... I have to go now. Jay's on air in Zong Yi Da Ge Da. Thx for reminder sweet. :)
buaiz~
