Aye, mid-year is over!! What a disastrous length of period it was... =_= Whoever who finds the papers okay is a genius. I hope promos would be less difficult, but what are the odds? Sigh.

Spent my first after-last-exam-paper-day at home. I did up two skins and an "exclusive photograph package" for an exclusive person... :) Anyway the two skins are the one I'm using now and also here if you wanna see. Haha. I'm satisfied with them and still as much addicted as I was.

It is a dismay for NDP 07's participants... The complimentary tickets they gave out to the participants this year is not for the actual day nor the preview. It is on an unofficial day which they called "Family Day" - 7th July. Haha.. Audiences are going to watch our 3rd conbined rehearsal... and there will be no goodie bags. =/ So much for Marina Bay's Floating stadium!!!

In a bid to secure Rebecca's visits to my blog, I'm going to post really random pictures... Some which dates back quite some time.

Here's my twin brother who kept playing Rakion on an incessant rate during O lvl period!
Then I was bored, I took this "Take a break" balloon bubble and did these (see below)... in an attempt to ask him to stop playing and start studying!
PS: I mean take a break in playing, not studying.

He smiled. He slept.

Fake sleeping lah. I forgot what happened next. haha!

I never asked his permission if I could post his photos here, but nevermind! He hardly reads my blog anyway... haha.

And I'm going to miss Tanah Merah so much... after the move end of September.

Was at Century Square's "Jack's Place" for Father Day lunch. After lunch, we had chocolate deserts which I found cute so I took a picture. =S lol.

Some of my iPeace designs. Was feeling bored.

Okay, no more pictures for today! =) Bye!

Finally giving some time to my own blog... so here's a post!
Had been spending excessive time doing blogskins...
Creating blogskins has officially became an addiction to me! Maybe it's just another momentary passion and that I'll get over this craze of mine in a matter of time... But I hope not. Because I'm really loving it! I just wish that I wasn't limited by time constraints. I'm having a hard time juggling between my preparation for mid-term exams next week & this new fond craze.
Sigh. Economics, why did I choose you as one of my core subjects?? I should had just put you in the less significant H1 & take up Physics. =/

I'm getting use to my braces now! It was really uncomfortable during the first three days... I wake up feeling like I'm wearing a set of false teeth. And I can't bite gummy bears and bubble tea's pearls for my teeth will hurt like $%^&(! That is horrendous. I had to gulp it down instead. There were also times when I just feel like taking the braces off... and wish that there was something called 'temporary braces' where I can take it off for just a while to give my teeth a short breather before putting it back on... (Not retainers ah.)
Anyway, all is fine now. :)

Gooood day to all! Bye!

Tomorrow is the day! :) Sweet would be back, after 4 lingering days... :):)

& I'm going to put on my braces tomorrow morning. Got to wake up 'early' because dental appointment is at 10am. It's going to be a haggard day tomorrow due to my biological clock being screwed up (I have to wake up after 11.30am to feel refresh, otherwise ... sigh, dark circles.)

I bought a keychain! It's something special of course. I won't blog about it if it's just another keychain... haha. It's gonna be a gift!

Close-up.
The back

This is for you, the one I miss soarly. =)

Anyway, I picked up a new stint! Creating blogskins, that is. I was meddling with Adobe Photoshop when the idea of creating blogskins lit up in my mind. I'll make one for my own blog as soon as Mid-years are over!! =D

So far, I've only got a piece done. You can see it HERE! A piece of work I'm proud of. Afterall, I spent a good two days completing it (sleeping, studying, going out included though)
Okay!

Shall thou begone.

3:10:00 PM

Today was supposedly the windup for class 4i of 2006 (3D-2N ) chalet over at Costa Sands, but I left for home yesterday noon after staying for a day & night.
This was my first overnight chalet! My mum has finally snapped up several strings of restictions that were put up just for me, at last. She never allowed me to (stay overnight anywhere before). Guess that's what 17 years of age brings you - slightly more freedom. =)

I assume Day One is always the most enjoyable one... and so it was. A group of us who reached Pasir ris on time had to do the shopping for the bbq that evening. That includes food + some bbq equipments that I had no inkling of.
We reached the chalet at 3, and a few of us girls basically lazed around the room, playing cards, studying Maths. Haha. Learnt of a new card game called 'Twenty-Four'. Kinda mathematical game. It is mind-boggling but certainly addictive! And Nicole was mentioning about joining Singapore Idol next year! That's so cool! I bet a 101% she'll get some recognization. Her singing could melt anyone's heart. =D

Time dwell on until about 5, at which the barbecue finally commenced. Most of the food were tainted with those blackish 'idunnowhatyoucallthem' thing. It sticks when you over-barbecued it. Chao Tah you can say. But the Franks chicken hot-dogs taste nice all the same. :) Ate a few of those chicken wings, satay, fish balls and got back into the room, where we watched Ch U's Campus Superstar 2. Those guys in my class were commenting rather negatively, one contestant after another. Except for one, F3 or F4, who looks and sings decent enough for their standard. Hahaha. And then I think Kat (or was it someone else?) spoke about the reminisce of early last year, where we had to go Mediacorp every Monday night to support Adriano in his endeavor. Those times back in Secondary.

So the show ended, and we all stayed in the room watching the Ch 8 drama. Didn't know many watched this show, even the malay girls! Boredom was getting into me as the novelty of staying overnight wears off. It was about 11 only and Phoebe was almost dozing! I tried to sleep but it was useless because for one, I'm too used to sleeping at 2am, and the room was absolutely noisy! haha.

So I just lay there until... news got into our ears that James' guitar was wrecked, by A STRANGER! That was definitely something to be furious about. The stranger conveniently picked up the James' 'temporarily-forsaken' guitar and walked off with his lass. James was playing soccer with some others outside Escape when he realised the guitar was picked up by some remote stranger and chased after him. After the confrontation, the girl told the guy to throw the guitar (in malay) and this dumbbell acted like her loyal dog or what and wrecked the guitar into pieces by slamming it against the pillar at the bus-stop. HORRIBLE BEHAVIOR! The guitar was in its case. James carried it back to where they were playing soccer previously. Sad case. To think I was strumming it moments before back at the chalet. I felt guilty, because it was some of us who were cajoling him to go home and take his guitar here. Now he has brought it out apiece, only to bring it back it shatters. The police was called but it was for null. They can't do anything cuz those mischief-makers were gone. I detest such mischief-makers! They're just out to create hell in other people's life. They can't think for nuts. GRR!

Got back into the chalet, calmed. Then we played cards again - daidee and 24. I tried to do a magic trick but failed big time. Haha! One by one, they fall asleep. There was a group of them outside talking, while in the room left awake are me, kat, ben, jianwen. Kept daidee-ing until we got bored of it and switched game. Haha. Imagine playing maths in the wee hours of the morning! Fun fun. Then it was 5 when the 3 of them had to retire. I laid down until honghui called me to go out to watch sunrise. I did, and we were sitting on one of the benches. Waited for a grueling half-hour. Dawn came upon us, without notice! Did not manage to catch the sunrise in the end... I better do my research the next time I want to catch it. Like which part of Pasir ris park can you see the sunrise and stuff. =_=
The sky was parted into two. One was blue-ish grey (brighter) while the other part was an orange glow. Then the mid-point was a water spout! I was wondering what it was. Honghui said it was smoke. lol. I thought it was a tornado or something and I actually thought it was moving. But it was quite a distance so maybe my eyes were playing tricks. Then I saw the news last night and there were people who reported seeing 3 water spouts from pasir ris area. So then, I realised that tornado-like thingy was a water spout. Weird weather phenomenon we see nowadays...

Waterspouts spotted off east coast of Singapore

SINGAPORE: More waterspouts have been spotted in Singapore.
Callers to the MediaCorp News hotline reported seeing several off the east coast.
There was no calm before the storm, as dark clouds over SAF Yacht Club at Changi spun into tower-high water spouts.
And eyewitnesses say they saw more than one spinning off the waters of Singapore.
"From where I stood, it was about 10 storeys high. There were three of them. They were about a few metres away from each other. There was one more that was forming. We could see water spinning at the top but it wasn't fully formed yet at the bottom," says Ariff Wahid from the SAF Yacht Club.
"There were a lot of waterspouts coming near to the club. But actually it was very far. It started to disappear half an hour later. It was spinning very fast towards one of the big ships there," says Fadilah Hajis, a member of staff at the SAF Yacht Club.
About 20 people including staff and guests at the club spotted the phenomenon from as early as 10 in the morning. Most said it lasted for about half an hour before heavy rain took over.
The last time something similar was reported was at East Coast Park in late May 2007.
The National Environment Agency confirmed Tuesday's sighting. - CNA/yy

I saw it at 6.30am! Not 10am. haha. Whatever, but this is certainly strange.
Me and hui went back to the chalet at 6.30 around there. I caught my 2 hours of beauty sleep before Phoebe woke me up at 8.30 with a packet of milo hovering above me. Haha. I kept squinting. Was feeling really groggy. Then me, pb, hui, and Kat headed to Downtown's East mac for breakfast and also to buy back for others. Welsonn's treat!
After which, we went pooling with Raymond, Thiensoon, Wengsing. Pooled for so long I was already dulled by this. I saw Zhi Yong at the pooling area too by coincidental.
Intended to go Escape but it was raining heavily... too bad for us. Headed back to chalet, stayed for a little while before me and Eden head home.

Slept for 4 hours straight after I plunged onto my hone's bed. Haha. I woke up and my room's all dark. Turned out to be eight at night. Dinnered and studied Chemistry. Sigh. Chemistry and Economics, such heavy subjects! And I still haven't touched my Econs! =S

I had my dental appointment today. Did washing, scaling only... While my brother extracted one of his teeth (ouch). He's a dead-log now after eating the painkillers. Lucky I need not extract! Whew...

Looking forward to next Monday - 18th June. For 3 reasons. ;) Bye!

PS: So many commented I've become 'zi lian'! -_- my sec 4's classmates did so, and then now Reb. But it's not a crime to take your own pictures right? We're girls afterall! haha.
PPS: Much thanks to Kat and Mr Toh for the success of this gathering! =)

Today was kind of a 'City' pilgrimage for me. Ha =)

I spent the afternoon around the Esplanade with someone special! We were just sitting by the Singapore river and enjoying the sights from afar. Visited the Merlion Park as well and we spotted a stunning rainbow which was stretched across the river right to the other end. I want the picture!!

Anyway, after which I headed to the floating stadium for my usual weekly NDP training... This time, my hands were geared for pictures. =)

The ferris-wheel (without its carts yet of course.)
I will try you one day! Haha.

The City view from the stadium!

The stadium. (from the audience seating.)

They had parachutings during today's integrated rehearsal!! There were about 15 parachutists... 5 at a time.
See them descend!

They're nearer...

and nearer...

Almost there!

Almost, almost there. . .

And they landed, one after another. No time to take anymore pictures of the parachutists. I find them quite admirable for their daring spirit! Imagine you high up there, bracing the strong wind all alone. You have no hold over it, just those 2 handles to control the direction of the parachute. Really cool. Not many are up for this. Anyway, none landed on the river, which I was kinda worried about.

Today's training was topped off with 'waiting' and more 'waiting'. Supposed reporting time was - 5pm. Turned out to be a phony. All of us just sat at the shaded (thank god it was shaded) stands and waited for a good 2 hours, before the actual actions kick in. Could had just followed my brother's suit and report at 6.40pm. -_-" Okay no lah, that's way irresponsible. Tsk.

Running in 'holding' area... waiting for the signal... "Finale"

Waiting for everyone to assemble... Had more than enough time to take a picture of the colourful seatings from the performing stage... lol.

Hate the "Finale"! Always have to be stuck at the holding area for half-hour before we can run in. Argh! Wait, wait & more waits!

The wait did not rested even after the whole practice ended.

Had to spend another half-hour for the chartered bus to Bedok to come fetch us.

Took this picture from the audience stand while waiting for the bus to come... Really so much time to spare.

Sure, the 'waiting' is irksome. But I guess it is vital to the success of the whole show. Can't expect VIPs and audience to wait right! So performers have got to wait and stand by way before their actual performance start.

Anyway, it's Home sweet home at about 11.45pm! And I guess it's time for some sleep and a little Physics tomorrow. Bye!

Woke up on the wrong side of bed today. Frowns.

& I'll be home the whole of today.

Yesterday was a mini class gathering to celebrate Erlina's birthday but this crux person here did not turn up. -_-" So I guess this isn't suppose to be called a celebration anymore. We went to Seoul Garden to fill our empty stomachs ( I purposely kept it empty ok! Because I know buffet is always never worth it for ME. ) Ate ate ate. That followed with the secret number game... and I got forfeited twice. Had to eat Tau Pok (which was yuck yucks!). Manage to get off the hook though. lol. Hid under some plate. 2nd forfeit for me was a plate of ice-cream. More than 10 scoops of a myriad of flavours, with credits to Jiawen. So I'll be coughing for another 3 more weeks and won't be surprise. I hate durian ice-cream!!!

Played pool after which at Downtown.

I'm UPSET. Can't understand why some people just love to brandish their sarcasm as and when they like. Aren't we all one class, after all! Do we really have to so faithfully distinguish ourselves from the other group? =(

Don't only the small minds discuss people?
Just for the sake of being in the mainstream, you discuss people or person? Nice one. Glad that I'm not a partaker in this discussion.
And I didn't know that I can be convicted for being a neutral party in this class as well. Great great.

Wonder what went wrong... sigh.
I'm ranting. Bye.

Here's my first post with my novelty! And the battery is running low already. That's because I spent a whole lot of time trying to fathom the intricacy of the simple Wireless networking. In other words, I wasted my time. But at least it's done!!

Went with my dad to the PC Show yesterday and got this novelty here... Black VAIO. Another $300 for a different colour? Maybe not... So I guess I should stick to Black, and be satisfied with this universal colour. Do not allow greed to swallow you up in time to come!
Thursday - Got my school bag from Bugis Street together with Jia wen and Jasmine. Haha... All of us each got a white one. Those dirt better stay away from my speck & clean bag. I've been spending extravagantly. Sigh...

NDP training was @ Marina Bay's floating stadium last Saturday! (I always had it at Kranji camp) Spectacular view from the Esplanade as I made my way towards the bay, really. I guess even if you can't get the tickets, you can still get a reasonably 'okay' view from the stands outside, or from where the Merlion is with binoculars. Not sure if it'll be block on the actual day, but it hadn't last Saturday.

The marching parade!! Those clad in white uniform looked exceptionally SMART and alluring indeed.

And the moon was acting weird that night.
Feeling orange-y, aren't you? It's probably feeling sad. no no, she's sad; that night.

Ends here for now! For the battery reader reads 6% remaining... Time to charge.

PS: MY TWIN BRO STARTED HIS BLOG lolololololol.
